Job Description:

As an Apparel Designer, your primary responsibility is to design innovative and technologically advanced products that meet the needs of our customers and end-users, ultimately driving company sales and profits. You will work within our cross-functional team to create products from concept to realization, producing apparel designs that enhance SCOTT’s design image, product performance, and innovation.

You will also create seasonal stories through colors, conceptualize solutions to product briefs, and collaborate with our team to ensure design feasibility.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional skills in ideation, sketching and visual presentation, as well as possess outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities must be performed under fast-paced conditions, so the candidate must be able to multi-task and prioritize. The ideal candidate is a biker, runner or into outdoor sports. 

We expect:

• Proven experience within premium sports brands
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience
• Degree in Industrial or Fashion Design (or equivalent)
• Passion for contemporary sports, fashion culture, and trends
• Strong apparel design skills, including drawing/sketching, ideation, color and proportion, visual presentation, and layout
• Technical knowledge of men's and women's performance garment construction, materials, and fitting
• Experience in creating technical packs with detailed explanations for development
• Proficiency in Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
• Knowledge of 3D software is a plus
• Fluency in English; knowledge of German or French is an advantage
