Join Our Team as a Brand Copywriter for SCOTT Sports
Role Overview: Are you passionate about shaping powerful narratives in the world of sports? At SCOTT Sports, we're looking for an innovative Brand Copywriter to elevate our global brand voice and bring our products to life with compelling, cross-channel storytelling. As part of our dynamic international marketing team at headquarters, you’ll be instrumental in defining and upholding the tone of voice for SCOTT, ensuring we communicate with a consistent and captivating message worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set the Standard: Establish and drive SCOTT’s brand copywriting guidelines. Define tone of voice across our sports divisions, ensuring brand coherence at every touchpoint.
- Own the Message: Lead the creation and consistency of SCOTT’s communications for product launches, campaigns and brand stories.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Marketing, PR, and Creative Departments to develop and refine content, crafting engaging product and community stories across multiple channels and platforms.
- Uphold Quality Across Channels: Review and refine content for diverse projects, maintaining SCOTT’s voice across all outputs.
- Be a Detail Guardian: Lead proofreading processes to ensure every word meets SCOTT's high standards.
- Champion Localization: Collaborate with translation stakeholders and global subsidiaries to ensure effective and impactful messaging in all of the brands’ languages.
- Technical Copywriting: Adept at content and non-technical SEO best practices.
What You’ll Bring:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, English or a related field with 3+ years of professional copywriting experience.
- Experience: A proven track record of successful copywriting across diverse media formats, including, ad copy, email, website and other digital channels, and print media.
- Fluent English: Fluency in English, with native proficiency a strong advantage.
- Creativity & Strategy: Exceptional writing and editing skills, with proven experience crafting impactful, audience-focused content. Able to adapt tone and style to different brand voices, with a solid understanding of marketing and branding principles.
- Market Know-How: In-depth knowledge of bike products, technical specifications, and features, plus strong understanding of winter and running sports.
- Top-Tier Communication Skills: Excellent collaboration skills to connect and influence across teams.
- Passion for the Outdoors: A personal love for the world of sports and adventure is highly valued to create authentic, relevant content for these audiences
