CMF Designer - Bikes & Outdoor Equipment

You will own CMF across categories, ensuring a coherent, harmonious and high‑value visual language from concept to production.
Your Key responsibilities:
Lead CMF from idea → production across multiple categories
- Define colour, material, finish direction across helmets, goggles and eyewear with a supporting role for bikes, bike components, Bike accessories and Skis.
- Translate trend research + brand strategy into executable CMF concepts.
- Partner with graphic designers to develop material palettes, colourways, textures, and surface treatments for production
- Build and manage CMF libraries, standards, and seasonal narratives
- Drive prototyping, validation, and production approvals with factories/suppliers including regular factory travel.
- Ensure design intent survives engineering, cost, and manufacturing constraints with QC and Compliance Teams.
- Collaborate daily with graphic design, industrial design, engineers, product managers and QC
Projects: - New helmet platforms and collections (Cycling & Winter)
- New optics platforms and collections Goggles & eyewear material + surface innovation
- Bike colour systems across model families to support Graphic designers to provide CMF Expertise, Systems and Coherence.

Your profile:
- Strong mix of creative instinct + production mindset
- 3–6+ years in CMF / industrial / product design (Luxury or Automotive preferred)
- High attention to detail and colour acuity
- Deep understanding of:

- Material behaviour: plastics, foams, coatings, textiles, composites, paint formulations
- Colour systems: Pantone / COLORO + colour accuracy
- Surface finishes: textures, coatings, durability trade-offs
Proven ability to:

- Build coherent CMF strategies and product stories
- Translate design into manufacturable specifications
- Work with suppliers and validate production samples
Tools:

- Adobe CC, Vizcom, Blender / rendering tools
- Experience working with PLM systems (Centric Prefered)
