E-Commerce Operations and Planning Manager

Mission:

You’ll play a key role in supporting the growth of our e-commerce channel through effective merchandising, demand forecasting, inventory management, and actionable reporting.

Collaborating with key associates in the market and internal stakeholders to guarantee frictionless operational processes and optimized e-commerce revenues

 

Tasks:

  • Responsible for interfacing with Sales team to ensure adequate and appropriate inventory to hit e-comm sales targets
  • Plan and forecast annual e-comm sales targets according to internal and external data and trends analysis; communicate these targets to marketing team, and track and meet monthly (or more frequently) to manage progress
  • Suggest and take necessary measures to ensure profitability and optimized stock levels with minimal holding costs
  • Implement advanced demand prediction models, including statistical and machine learning approaches to improve accuracy
  • Lead the integration of human judgement into forecasting processes through forecast value-add (FVA) methodologies
  • Track key performance indicators such as inventory turns, margin performance, and demand forecast accuracy
  • Manage customer experience by understanding needs, wants, and willingness to pay, gather information and data from relevant sources, identifying root causes and taking action to meet and surpass customer expectations 
  • Support administrative activities for the E-Commerce operations regarding catalogue management, product launches and promotions 
  • Collaborate intimately with sales, logistics and customer success team
  • Liaise with the DTC key users in key countries
  • Develop medium- and long-term strategic initiatives to enhance support to aid customer retention and revenue development 
  • Track and analyze product performance metrics
  • Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling and assortment optimization

 

Requirements: 

  • EFZ (3-year apprenticeship) 
  • Minimum 2-years’ proven experience in a similar position 
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent Office 365 skills (Excel in particular) 
  • Know-how of Commerce Cloud and SAP S4 is an advantage 
  • Fluent in English, knowledge in German and/or French is an advantage
