Turn passion into precision.

Do you love bikes—not just riding them, but understanding how every tube, bolt, and component works together? Are you the kind of person who notices the sophistication and subtleties of surfacing excellence, the flow of purposeful highlights and feature lines, the love, craftsmanship and dedication of wonderfully honed products. Then this is your chance to help shape the next generation of performance cycling.

We’re looking for a Junior Alias Modeller to join our team and bring road and mountain bikes and equipment to life in 3D. This role is for someone at the start of their career, hungry to learn, detail-driven, and excited to work where design meets engineering.

As an Alias Modeller at Scott Sports SA, you will be involved in projects from the first sketch model to production data release. Your collaboration with product designers, product managers, engineers, and the innovation team, will ensure that Scott Sports continues to develop industry leading products.

What you’ll do

· Build accurate Alias models of bike frames, components, and accessories.

· Translate design and engineering input into clean, production-ready surfaces.

· Support senior modellers and designers through concept, development, and refinement phases

· Iterate fast, learn faster, and contribute ideas that improve both workflow and product quality

· Help ensure that every digital surface reflects real-world performance and craftsmanship we expect

What you bring

· A strong interest in cycling, bike technology, and high-performance equipment

· Experience with Autodesk Alias

· An eye for detail and a respect for precision

· Curiosity, motivation, and a willingness to take feedback and grow

· A team mindset and pride in doing things properly—even when no one’s watching

What you’ll gain

· Hands-on experience modelling real products used by real riders

· Mentorship from experienced designers, modellers and engineers

· A front-row seat in the development of cutting-edge road and mountain bikes and equipment

· The chance to turn your passion into a career and build skills that last a lifetime

If you believe great rides start long before the road—and inside a well-crafted model—we’d love to hear from you. Join us, learn the craft, and help design what’s next in cycling.

Core tasks:

· Volume, concept and sketch modelling to validate design proposals.

· 3D design and surface problem solving for design and production development.

· Models for prototyping to validate design and engineering concepts.

· A-Class surface NURBS data for production and manufacturing.

· Supporting our visualisation team with data preparation.

Specifics:

· Accurately interpret sketches and orthographic design proposals into a 3D volume whilst faithfully retaining the core theme and emotion of the design proposal.

· Develop sketch models into production data whilst maintaining the essence of the sketch model.

· Deliver files that can be used for engineering, prototyping, and tooling.

· Prepare data for use in visualisation

Candidate will be able to demonstrate:

· A strong level of NURBS modelling with Autodesk ALIAS (applications without any Alias experience will be filtered)

· Alias experience with sketch modelling, prototyping and production modelling.

· Design judgement and sensibility.

· Understanding of basic engineering principles (Production techniques)

· Good self-organisation skills

· A good level of spoken and written English

All applications should include a digital portfolio/link to portfolio site and a resume. Selected candidates may be requested to perform an Alias modelling task.

Are you ready for the ride? We can’t wait to get to know you!
