We are looking for a Manager - Group Consolidation, Reporting & Accounting for a permanent position, available to start as soon as possible, to lead Scott Group’s consolidation activities.

 

 

Your Mission:

 

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the Group's consolidation, financial reporting and budgeting processes. You will ensure timely and accurate preparation of consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS, oversee Group reporting activities, support strategic finance initiatives and serve as a key contact for auditors, controllers and management. In addition, you will act as the Group Accounting referent providing technical accounting guidance across the organization, ensuring consistent application of accounting policies and supporting the resolution of complex accounting matters..

 

 

Your Key Responsibilities:

 

Group Consolidation, Financial Reporting & IFRS

  • Prepare consolidated financial statements and disclosures in accordance with IFRS.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of consolidation adjustments including intercompany, profit in inventory and equity eliminations as well as foreign currency translation and IFRS-specific accounting adjustments.
  • Coordinate and review reporting packages submitted by subsidiaries.
  • Analyse and reconcile intercompany balances and transactions across the Group.
  • Maintain and improve Group accounting policies and reporting guidelines.
  • Monitor new and revised IFRS standards and assess their impact on the Group.
  • Support the implementation of new accounting standards and reporting requirements.
  • Manage and improve consolidation and reporting systems, including SAP S/4HANA and related reporting tools.
  • Participate in finance transformation projects and reporting process improvements.

 

Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Analysis

  • Coordinate the preparation of the annual consolidated budget and periodic forecasts.
  • Consolidate budget submissions from subsidiaries.
  • Perform variance analysis between actual results, budget, and forecast.
  • Collaborate with controlling department to provide financial insights and business performance analysis.
  • Support management reporting.
  • Various financial analysis.

 

Audit, Compliance & Internal Controls

  • Coordinate group audit and act as the primary finance contact for external auditors during quarterly reviews and year-end audits.
  • Coordinate audit requests and ensure timely delivery of supporting documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, local statutory requirements and internal accounting policies.
  • Support SOX or equivalent compliance programs where applicable.
  • Assist with regulatory reporting and finance governance initiatives.

 

Business Partnering & Team Leadership

  • Collaborate with finance teams, controllers and accounting managers across the Group.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and support to subsidiaries.
  • Train finance teams on reporting requirements and accounting developments.
  • Drive standardization and best practices across Group Finance.
  • Lead consolidation and reporting team members.

 

Group Accounting

  • Serve as the Group Accounting referent and primary point of contact for technical accounting matters across the Group.
  • Provide guidance and support to local finance teams on IFRS and Group accounting policies.
  • Drive consistency in accounting practices and reporting across all entities.
  • Support the maintenance and update of Group accounting policies and reporting guidelines.

 

 

Your Profile :

 

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification preferred (CPA, ACCA, ExpertSuisse, CA, or equivalent).

 

Experience

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in consolidation, financial reporting, audit or Group finance.
  • Proven experience with IFRS reporting within an international and multicultural environment, ideally across multinational organizations with multiple legal entities.
  • Previous experience within a Big Four audit firm is considered an advantage.

 

Technical Skills

  • Advanced knowledge of IFRS and Group consolidation principles.
  • Strong understanding of financial statement preparation and disclosure requirements.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Group Reporting or equivalent consolidation tools.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Experience with Power BI or other reporting and analytics tools is a plus.
