Product Manager Footwear

Your mission:

 

In this role, you will create collections that fuse design, culture, and consumer needs into footwear that inspires self-expression and strengthens our Dolomite brand positioning. Your mission is to translate market insights, consumer feedback, and brand vision into product strategies that elevate the consumer experience, strengthen our market position, and drive cultural relevance. You will act as the bridge between design, development, marketing, and commercial teams to ensure every product delivers commercial success and long-term brand equity.

 

Your responsibilities:

 

Consumer & Market Knowledge/Analysis

 

  • Establish your foundation as the consumer expert by understanding the target consumer and culture, analyzing retail data, and communicating with Marketing and Sales to identify insights and opportunities.
  • Research, analyze, and provide market and consumer insights to the wider product creation team.

 

Product Line Planning/Briefing/Business Acumen

 

  • Define seasonal product strategies in alignment with brand direction, market opportunities, and consumer trends, in partnership with the Head of Product Strategy and Merchandising.
  • Champion consumer-centric product briefs that blend innovation, functionality, and brand storytelling.
  • Build a balanced range architecture across franchises, categories, and price points to serve both global and regional needs.
  • Manage planning across evergreen icons, limited editions, and seasonal updates.
  • Manage line efficiency, pricing, and margin targets to meet growth and profitability goals.
  • Monitor product performance and sell-through rates.
  • Responsible for PLM data input, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.

 

Product Presentation / Communication

 

  • Partner with Marketing and Commercial teams to ensure Go-to-Market readiness, including assets and sell-in tools.
  • Represent the collection in internal and external presentations, acting as the voice of the consumer and the brand.
  • Provide expertise and training to regional markets to strengthen product knowledge and alignment.

 

Your profile:

 

  • at least 4 years of product management experience, ideally with exposure to running, outdoor, or sports footwear.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration (or equivalent).
  • Strong strategic thinking with analytical and consumer centric mindset.
  • Passion for outdoor, lifestyle and storytelling.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in PLM systems, MS Office, and comfort with digital collaboration tools.
  • Curious, hands-on, and solution-oriented personality.
  • Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 20%).

 

This role will be based in the Dolomite HQ in Trevignano (TV) Italy.
